A few years ago, we were in Mexico for a three-week break from running our corporate consulting, training, and coaching business.
Twenty-one days of yoga, great food, swimming in the ocean, and meeting new friends has a way of relaxing you. Changing your perspective. And that’s how Recharge Retreats got started.
Towards the end of the trip, we couldn’t believe how relaxed and refreshed we felt. We were staying at a resort with no electricity, in an open-air room that looked over the ocean. It was such a great chance to unplug from the everyday stress and challenges of life.
An idea kept popping up in our conversations – “wouldn’t it be great if we could make it easier for the people we know to experience this too?” Next thing we knew, we had put together a team and we were hosting retreats.
Our goal remains the same as it did on that three-week trip to Mexico – we want to help people take a break from the stresses of modern life, and to slow down enough that they can unwind, relax, and recharge.
Many of our programs offer yoga, and many offer a significant personal development component that can help keep your happiness and balance going once you make it back to your home and your job.
